More About Timber Conservatories

Hardwood or Softwood, some clients even specify Oak frames. Many who specify timber frames do so as they really dislike PVC, others because they love the feel and look of wood.

Some have no choice as they live in conservation areas or listed properties. There is undeniably something special about hand crafted wood that can make the extra investment worthwhile.  The external roof sections are invariably capped with aluminium casings to help with maintenance but the water based preservatives used mean that re-decorating is required as little as every seven years. The past few years have seen a huge increase in our clients preferences for glass in the roof and even more so with hardwood frames. Available as high insulation, solar reflective and even self cleaning, glass is seem as the ‘classy’ option. Our timber range has many features that are unique to Admiral as detailed in our latest brochures which are available on request.
